At the beginning of October, TKH signed an agreement to acquire the Weld Seam Inspection business unit (“WSI”) of Vitronic Machine Vision. The WSI unit specializes in delivering turnkey inspection systems including advanced edge-AI vision capabilities to the complex environment of post-weld inspection. The WSI activities support a global customer base in the automotive and heavy industry sectors, where demand for automated production is high.

The WSI activities will be integrated into TKH’s 3D machine vision business. The addition of the WSI application to 3D’s flexible and highly performant Gocator sensors and GoPxL and GoFactory software platforms, will further accelerate TKH’s expansion into turnkey machine vision solutions and broaden the vertical automation markets into welding applications. The WSI activities turnover in 2025 amounted to €6.2m. The 40 employees operate primarily out of Wiesbaden (Germany) and Querétaro (Mexico) with further customer focused teams covering China, USA, France and Poland. This transaction is expected to close during Q4 2026.
