Capable responsible for cabling in Dragon capsule

On June 29 2018, a Falcon 9 (SPACE-X) rocket lifted a Dragon capsule to the ISS (International Space Station) carrying the FSL Video Management Unit MkII amongst other payload units.

The FSL Video Management Unit is a computer system developed by the Belgian company Space Applications Services for end customer ESA, while the AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) of the unit has been performed by Belgian company Centre Spatial de Liege.

Capable has designed, engineered and produced and installed in-house the full cabling in the VMU MkII unit, based on the generic functional requirement specification of customer Centre Spatial de Liege. In the cabling design performed by Capable, special care was taken to meet the stringent reliability, outgassing and ergonomic requirements for safe, easy & flawless operation by ISS astronauts. Capable performed precision engineering in a space project once again.
