Park Assist supplies Parking Guidance System for ‘Mall of the Netherlands’ in The Hague

Park Assist has been awarded the M4 Parking Guidance System (PGS) delivery contract for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield’s ‘Mall of the Netherlands’ located in The Hague, The Netherlands.

‘The Mall of the Netherlands’ is a major extension and refurbishment of the current Leidsenhage shopping centre and will be one of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield’s flagship shopping destinations with national and international premium brands and flagship stores. Park Assist’s M4 Parking Guidance System will be installed in the three indoor multi-storey car parks.

Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is a global Park Assist customer and chose the M4 Parking Guidance System for ‘Mall of the Netherlands’ based on previous installations at their properties in Europe and the United States. The M4 camera-based smart-sensor PGS is used to help quickly guide visitors to available parking spaces with the aid of colour-coded, smart sensors, thereby saving visitors a lot of time. In addition to the M4 PGS, Park Finder, Park Assist’s advanced vehicle locator technology, will also be installed. Find Your Car, which is a feature within Park Finder, enables the car park users to enter their licence plate number and locate their car in seconds. They can locate their cars at a Park Finder enabled pay station, touchscreen kiosk, or via smartphone app.

The project is being installed in two phases, the first phase has been started in January 2019. It is expected that the project will be completed in January 2020.
